Wreak: macro & microcosms

Wreak: macro and microcosms engages the small and large aspects of the contemporary western landscape in the face of cultural tendencies toward beauty and consumption. It is comprised of large-scale prints, photographs and sculptures whose concepts revolve around consumer practices and an investigation of climate. Iconic images such as the American lawn and the shopping cart are juxtaposed with implicating text and sculptures inspired by Doppler storm images to create image sets that reveal the ironies of the American Dream in the Western Landscape.
