Thoughtography

Playing on the idea of simulated mental landscapes- measurable and quantifiable spaces in which we think, love and remember- Thoughtography is a group of sculptures, prints and drawings that attempts rationalizing the internal self within external environments. Mapping the mental terrain provides a way to display our need to conquer and describe problematic aspects of self- avoiding mixed emotions, opposing opinions and other subconscious iterations of internal conflict. These works display a futile attempt, as they are disorganized, random and lead only to folly.
