American Dreaming

This suite of prints was made in response to our relationship with water within the domestic landscape both as a means of beautification and as a scarce natural resource, particularly in the American west. Lithographic prints of water nozzles and other water instruments are paired along side photographs of landscapes ranging from snowpack to quarries. Concerns surrounding climate and unprecedented violent weather frame these visual interests providing a glimpse into larger implications of resource management. The suite is entitled American Dream and is an extension of my previous work, Wreak: macro and microcosms.
