In Spring 2011, I was awarded a small grant to complete Hotoff press, a prototype project. It is a mobile screen-printing press. This project was influenced by the distributable and malleable nature of print and print shop. Hotoff has mobilized the print shop by attaching it to a bicycle.
The intentions of Hotoff Press are to provide people powered, free news unmarked by commerciality. These prints are to create a network amongst a small community. Here you can see a project that Hotoff did on Cherokee Street in St. Louis, MO during Southern Graphics Council 2011.
